“Blue 42, set, hut- hut, hike, “ the quarter back yelled. It was late one night at a high school football game. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Hillcrest was winning 42-35. It was the civil war game. The Hillcrest quarter back threw a 20 yard pass and the receiver caught the ball and ran to the end zone closely fallowed by a defender . The defender dived at him at the ten yard line. Missing him by a centimeter. The receiver made it to the end zone for a touchdown. The crowd went wild. Four kids cheered like crazy. There names were Brigham, Sam ,Kendra and Emily. Brigham is tall with brown hair and green eyes, he likes to wrestle and play soccer. Sam is short with blond hair, blue eyes and likes to juke people on the soccer field. Brigham and Sam are on the junior high soccer team and like to hang out. Kendra and Emily are best friends. Kendra is tall with brown hair and green eyes. Emily is short, with long yellow hair and blue eyes.
Hillcrest made the field goal and it was halftime. “Hey guys, lets go get a drink,” Emily suggested. They went back behind the bleachers were the bathrooms and drinking fountain’s were located. They all got drinks and after Sam was done drinking he spotted a round ball under the bleachers. He ran over and got it. “Hey, it’s a soccer ball,” Sam said. “Let me see,” Kendra said. Sam threw her the ball and she caught it. ”This is awesome, “ Kendra said, “it’s a miniature soccer ball”. “Let me see,” Brigham said. Kendra threw it to him but instead of catching it he caught it with his foot and balanced it there. Then he flipped it up and caught it with the back of his neck and balanced it there. Then he flipped it over to Sam, who started juggling it. Sam kicked it back to Brigham who caught it in his hands. Then all of a sudden the ball started vibrating and light came out of the lines. One of the octagons turned green and started flashing. Brigham touched the flashing octagon and the ball opened up. Inside the ball was a satellite looking thing that started spinning and beeping. Sam ran up and kicked the ball as hard as he could. It flew up into the air, and exploded into tiny flickering dust that sprinkled down on to them. Before anyone could do anything, the dust landed on them, and they were whisked away. When they came back awake, they were in a place unknown to reality. This world was called Zeeb. The eastern side of Zeeb is a bright and happy place, but that was not where they were. They were on the western side. It was not at all nice here and definitely not pretty.
“What do we do now,” Emily said with disgust. “I don’t know,” Brigham said, “but I would like to know where we are.” They were in the middle of a great plain, with burnt dead grass everywhere. “I have an idea, lets all walk that way,” Kendra said pointing in one direction. They all started walking, and kept walking for three hours. Finally, they saw a city in the distance. After another hour, they saw something riding out across the plains towards them. The ground was rumbling. A giant lizard came up in front of them and two strange men jumped down and said something strange to each other. They rushed at the boys. Sam side stepped, but the man was too fast and he tackled Sam. Sam was held in a head lock. The other man rushed at Brigham. Brigham ducked over and threw the man in one quick action. The man flew through the air and was left sprawling on the ground. Emily ran over and kicked the man holding Sam in the jaw. Then Sam elbowed him in the gut which loosened his hold as he reached up for his face. Sam got free and backed away. The man whom Brigham had knocked over was running at Kendra. Brigham and Sam both noticed and ran towards her, but not fast enough. He grabbed her wrist and she fainted. Brigham punched him in the jaw and blood spewed out of his mouth. Sam tackled him and they rolled around on the ground. The man made Sam faint too. Brigham backed away from the two men and put himself in front of him and Emily. They came toward him and one of them said, “It is not smart to mess with us,” and they charged him. One man dove for Brigham’s legs and got a foot in his face. The other man body slammed him and sent him rolling backwards. Brigham rolled around and got on top of him, pinning him to the ground. Then he brought his arm down on his neck so he could not breathe, and he fainted. The other man jumped up and grabbed Emily on the shoulder, and she fainted. Then he jumped at Brigham, grabbed his wrist and he fainted.
They were prisoners.

Page two
The battle continued for another three hours until every last Irishman was killed and all the Irish flags were burned. They burned the Irish men and brought back their fallen to be buried. When they returned they found their women and children putting out fires in buildings. Half the town and all the outer wall was burned to the ground and the stone keep was in ruins. It was now sunset and as many buildings that could be saved from the fire were. The next day they set to work removing the ruins. Tristan and Cade helped tear down burnt walls. When their father came over to them and said, "Tristan I want you, Cade and anyone else you think would fit, to spy out the Irish war gallies and capture their ships." Tristan nodded at his father and walked off with Cade. "How are we going to do that," complained Cade. "I have no idea," answered Tristan.After three hours of searching they showed up at the beach with ten other men. They waited five hours before something happened. A small boat dropped into the water and twelve men jumped down into the boat and started rowing toward land. "Alright, this is our chance," Cade said with excitement. "Lets draw back in to the trees and wait there. Then when they are out of sight of their ships, we shoot them and put on their clothing," said Tristan. After they had done what they planned to do they got in the raft and paddled out into the water. By this time the sun was gone. They reached the ship and started climbing up the gun rail. Tristan reached the top first then in perfect Irish he said, "There are no survivors, you frog," and he whipped out his sword and stabbed the mans gut. The killed one hundred people on the ship all of which fought hard. Then at Tristan's order the ten men rushed to crossbows at the side of the ship and covered them with pitch. Then Cade ran along with a torch and lighted everyone of them in turn. At Tristan's word thy fired.

This is the story I have been working on.
Chapter 1 ambushThe caravan passed in front of them. A whistle like the sound of a bird came out of the forest. Tristan recognized it as the signal, he nodded to his brother Cade and they pulled out their bows and notched arrows. Cade notched two arrows. Tristan pointed at a large man with an axe, Cade chose a man driving a wagon full of prisoners and the captain. Tristan whispered to his brother " one two three " , and they loosed there arrows.
Tristan missed but hit the mans arm disabling it, Cade's arrows flew home the captain fell with out a word , the other man screamed as he fell from his seat on the wagon .
The big man yelled at all the men next to him "get them" as he pointed at the bush , where they were " run " Cade muttered under his breath.
They took off running as fast as they could zigzagging to avoid the arrows of the Irish bow men. ten men on horses rushed off after them but could not keep up through the trees after half a mile a clearing came into view the horse men were close behind them now. Once they reached the clearing Tristan yelled fire then a storm of arrows came flying out of the trees killing every man on a horse, then turning around Tristan and Cade with three hundred men ran back to the caravan and a desperate battle ensued. The big man who Tristan had shot at earlier found him and swung at him with his battle axe at him, Tristan barely dodged it and pulling out his swords swung at him twice missing both times ,then the big man swung his axe sideways Tristan stepping back to avoid the blow he tripped on a rock and fell backwards onto his back the big man seeing his chance stepped on his chest and lifted his axe hi in the air , when a dagger flew into the back of his left leg right behind his nee cap casing him to fall over . Tristan jumped up and took off his head with one blow. Tristan nodded at cade who ran off. Tristan grabbed a key off a dead mans body and unlocked thirty wagons full of men ready to fight. Before the Battle had started they had been out numbered two two to one know the odds were even.
